Late Night T.V (The good, the bad, the Colbert!)
« on: April 10, 2014, 12:28:56 PM »
Major change ups in late night television lately. Fallon took over for Jay Leno, Seth Meyers in for Fallon. Conan still sucks.

Now with Letterman leaving, it was announced that Stephen Colbert is taking over for him. Dont like the change because that means no more Colbert Report, but it will be interesting to see a more genuine Colbert.

Colbert is gonna do fine.

What if he continues his conservative persona on the Late Show?? That concept would probably be hilarious.

I wish he would but it isn't going to happen.

Yeah, CBS isn't going to do anything to reduce their viewership, and the nature of politics (even when it's wrapped up in satire) would make that a certainty.

Late Night talk shows ceased to exist once Craig Kilborn retired.

Colbert is a great hire.  When all the late night shows had to come back during the writer's strike, his was the only one that didn't have a significant drop off.
