Low expectations are like a warm blanket for me. Last national high expectation season was 2004 football. Low expectations are safe.

while people kept saying at certain times the team played well because they had "chips on their shoulders" and used that for motivation, i think other times (like 3 times against ku) they played bad because people said they were bad and they believed it. i think if expectations are really high there will be times where it might overwhelm them, but it might also finally make them believe that they really are good and they'll play like it.

Teams that perennially have high expectations get other teams jobbed by refs.

Can't wait to see more of this. Gonna be great to see it and know why it is happening.
