guys,

it just came to me the other day that there might be some point in time in the future where someone might want to know who some of you are. like, maybe you post something and they want to know who you are in real life. anyway, our current system would call for them to maybe pm a mod and ask us who you are (we won't tell/at least i don't think we will). or they could try and see if you left the email address that you registered with available for viewing and try to track you down from there. both of these are obviously less than ideal. another option i suppose would be for them to call other board members that they know or pm them and ask them to give up your real life identity if they think others might know it.

anyway, i've been thinking and probably the easiest way to do this for all involved is for everyone to just leave their real name along with their home address and phone number in this thread. i'm sure nobody will have a problem with this and in the long run, it will make things easier down the road in case one of us ever posts something that another one of us doesn't like and the offended board member wants the others personal identification. thanks as always guys.

i'll need to take a mod vote. give me a couple of months and i'll get back to you w/ the results. until then it's just easier to leave things the way they are.

absolutely not.

let me shoot a little hypothetical at you though ok_cat...what if someone two years from now posts something that makes you really, really want to know who that person is in real life? with the way things currently are, you might never find out. with this system you just reference this thread and boom. you have his home address and phone number. bam.
