Would we really losing anything? I mean, its only Wyoming

My mom lives there you son of a bitch!  :shakesfist:

Seems like we should equip her for live tweeting all animal migration, prepping, and end of the world stuff  :dunno:

She doesn't live in Yellowstone but I will see what the general mood is there and report back.

So then she should be okay

You did see "super" in front of "Volcano", right?

thing blows up, who cares?  go to wal-mart/target buy a umbrella, boom- no ash.  it will come down like rain.  hilarious that scientists can come up with when it's going to blow up but aren't smart enough to know it can be solved with a simple umbrella.  what's is it that they say about being too smart for your own good?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Wait but wouldn't the ash eventually slope down the sides and land like on the coasts and bury our population centers? I don't know, I think science has gone too far here. Then again, no more taco bell campus designs.

Guys, the rough ridin' roads are melting, and ground over the volcano is basically one big trap door waiting to pull you into it's boiling clutches.

True story:  A volcanologist was looking for the super volcano at Yellowstone, and after several weeks gave up his search.  This was in the 1970's.  A couple of months later he got a satellite image of the park, and discovered that the entire Yellowstone Park was a volcano, something like 43 miles in diameter.  I guess the last eruption, 660,000 years ago, deposited several feet of ash in what is now Nebraska, giving the farmland there its current fertility.  That volcanologist found that the super volcano at Yellowstone erupts about every 660,000 years (see last eruption).   :runaway:

Park officials also asked tourists not to hike into the affected areas, as the danger of stepping through what appears to be solid soil into boiling-hot water was “high.”

“There are plenty of other great places to see thermal features in the park,” park spokesman Al Nash told The Weather Channel. “I wouldn’t risk personal injury to see these during this temporary closure.”

Plenty of other thermal features guys, no reason to be boiled alive.

Anybody ever read The Road (or see the movie, I guess). I don't think the book ever explained what caused the catastrophe, but I assumed it was the YSV.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

If anything clicking on ben ji's link has allowed me to increase my ever-expanding self-defense arsenal.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

A supervolcano that spews 24K gold is a good example of eminent destruction.

Detroit has enough problems, they don't need drug addicts roaming the streets hunting drugs and being hunted by mutant cats and packs of dogs
