Frank and John were a suit wearing match made in heaven. At least frank had a semi decent hair cut.

So ku's reporting includes 18 months worth of donations??

Quote
In fact, Kaufman said, a change in the department’s fundraising cycle caused nearly a year and a half’s worth of contributions to be counted in 2013. Kansas counted nearly $33 million in contributions in 2013, up from $22.4 million the year before.

“It’s kind of an anomaly this year,” Kaufman said, “because we adjusted our cycle.”

Everyone came unhinged a couple of years ago, because K-State followed applicable accounting rules for non profits as it pertains to unconditional promises to give made during a specific fiscal year.   But ku is using 18 months worth of contributions?

KU doesn't do that and they likely finish FY 2013 in the red . . . again.

Ahhh.  That makes their 2013 donations make a little more sense. I couldn't think of anything big that had happened for KU fans to get excited and make a bunch of big donations.

I don't think our recruiting budget is what limits our recruiting prowess.

Imagine how much we save on senior discounts alone.

I'd bet a good portion is Weis traveling to Florida "recruit" when he is just going home.
