some things to consider...

reason you like county fairs: nostalgia/irony/earnestness/fun factor
what do you do with people you have an acquaintance-ish fleeting connection to but you want to be friends with (how to approach your friend crush)
professional interaction stereotypes/memes (sales guy, doctor, manly outdoor/fix it guy, dads, college bros, aggieville service industry types) I would really like to see this take off, not sure how to get it started though

When I smell asphalt I think about tailgating at the BSFS. But that's because I'm rich and half lots of rich friends and tailgate on the side with asphalt.

Logistically, its going to be a pain in the ass to move to Hawaii, right?

Asphalt smell makes me think of my dad, who was in charge of maintaining and repairing streets (city superintendent) in the small town where I grew up.

Lake houses. Idea for future is to buy one, sell six or seven shares to it to others, create an HOA'ey type thing for the one house and hire maint through some caretaker. Be the one to set it all up, overvalue your share over the others by ownership %, and get what you want, where you want, when you want while six or seven other owners help you pay for it and argue over the left over share times.

Also, may be a beach condo rather than lake house, but who knows.

Decent idea. However, you will need to insure yourself to an absurd degree.

HOA better get a handle on those legal fees.

Set some escrow sitch similar to what is tacked on to a standard mort. HOA could recoup non payment through regaining property and reselling shares.

Really talking out my ass here, but great Q's to bring up w the lawyer when/if I staet getting serious abt It.
