whole lotta dumb in here

how in the hell was that oscar's fault, that rule is in place on every level of sanctioned basketball

also there isn't a damn rule about 20 minutes, you can dunk until the officials enter the floor at that point you can't dunk anymore, that jackass knew the rule

Maybe they werent allowed to tunnel dance so this was the only way for them to get hype

the question we should be asking is why is the 6'4"walk on dunking in warm-up when none of the studs including about 5 NBA draft picks not dunking

Apparently the rule is you cant dunk when the clock is below 20:00. Rhodeler dunked at 19:58
is that serious?

Guess I'm a jackass then.  Pretty sure I've seen that kind of "dunk" many times before basketball games and never seen a T called.

I've already explained this, you've seen dunks in warm ups before the officials get on the court. You've seen guys touch the rim while the officials are on the court, Wes & Marcus did it right before Vulture got T'ed. You've never, in a real game, seen a player grasp the rim and pull down on it in front of officials in warm up.

I'll bet Vulture is glad we didn't lose by a point after UK made one of the tech free throws.

Didn't Wally Judge or Lu Colon or somebody do this before a KU game once? I smoked a bunch of herb in college, I could be making this up.

How is that so many people were clueless about this rule? MIR's interpretation of the rule is what I always knew to be as well.

For pregame:
No refs=dunk.
Refs=no dunk.

Yeah, I'm surprised many didn't know about the rule.

Vulture obviously still thought it was before the regular 20 minute warm up (it occurred inside the first minute) when the officials come onto the floor. It was an unfortunate mistake but really I'm not upset an anyone including Vulture or the officials that called it.

I was surprised by the lack of "OH MY GOD, NEW K-STATE RULE!!" tweets that I saw by K-State fans. Most of the ones I saw were non-K-State beat writers.

Brian is a guy who feels small, this made him feel big.  Good for him, he doesn't give a crap about the rules.  Just over achieving through adversity.
