in hindsight, probably not that controversial, but I think this thread could still settle down a bit before I bring it up.

Yes! Like, if you have something awesome happening over the weekend then it's cool to be excited that it's Friday...but if you are just glad that it is Friday because it means you don't have to work for a couple of days then you are a miserable person and should get a new job.

I think it's perfectly normal to be excited about a couple days off. I'm always doing something fun on the weekend, so I don't see the big idea. #depressed

I experienced some IRL #controversy today at work. When I asked the student what he liked to do for fun (building rapport, etc) he told me smoking bud and drinking with friends. Guy knows what he wants, man.

I like Fridays because they are generally just good days. Everyone is relaxed, in a good mood etc.
