Palmer will still call our Cats/Auburn game. He's doing both Thursday/Saturday games.

I think Brent is sort of like Vitale in that he really likes the storied programs when covering a game. OTOH, I only notice it when KSU is losing soo.......

Yes, this is bad news. Brent is an American treasure and I actually enjoy Palmer - he is usually well prepared and has a smooth delivery and I am entertained by his doucetastic wardrobe.

People who ask these questions are weirder to me. There are plenty of reasons to criticize entertainment. Especially when it is the only place to watch a certain show or sport.

I love Brent. His voice is iconic and lends itself to that "big game feel." I'll really miss him and I especially hate that he's going to do SEC games. SEC already has the very capable CBS stable of broadcasters.

Maybe Fowler can reach Brent's status someday. I think Fowler is a pro. My dad never liked him though because in Snyder's early days he'd always take pot-shots at Snyder's scheduling, comments (my dad thought) could be attributed to his CU Buffs background.
