I am watching the final Big 12 Network basketball game ever.

Man, that stinks. Remember Raycom? I do. I honestly feel like this was part of our identity, I have a Hardees Big 8 basketball that reminds me of syndicated hoops. No Whataburger, no Basket Pong, Cooper Tire, bye-bye Tom Bodett. It doesn't seem right that this is ending with UT/West Virginia with the great Big 8 battles we had this afternoon.

Here in Iowa they put the games on the ABC affiliate so they never put the week night games on, I've had to watch them on MASN and Altitude.

I hope ESPN picks up Brynden Manzer, I really like him.

I think it's great. We all get sentimental sometimes, even about shitty stuff, and the Big XII network was shitty. Having all of the Big XII games on ESPN will be much better for conference exposure. I really think the Big XII is ready to establish itself as one of the top basketball conferences year in and year out. This certainly won't hurt.

I don't think we're having the same conversation, we're just being sentimental bro, we are all acutely aware of the benefits.

Also the Big 12 Network was far from shitty, they have been using ESPN production for years, we had all of these games on nationally long before the Big 10 Network. This is still a much better set up than what the ACC, SEC, and PAC 12 has. The all ESPN game will be great but that doesn't mean that this has been shitty.

Great, can't wait for Cat games being on that Non-HD channel Espn U pile o crap......You know, I am kinda glad the cats lost cause that is what channel they would be on tonight, and that channel does them a disservice.....

I have Dish and don't know why I don't get that channel as an alternate HD channel....

Big 8/ Big 12 basketball has had a certain flavor to it's production as long as I can remember. My only hope is that they can hold on to that somewhat with the change. I really like the Saturday pregame shows too.

Yeah, I remember those Raycom days - watching on a 19-inch television, no less. I remember Fred White and Gary Thompson doing the last game in Ahearn...those were the days, my friends. I thought they'd never end...
