If you're forcing me to make a complete predicto I'd say loss to ISU then comfortable win over first round (second?) NCAA opponent followed by sound defeat to really good team.  #takeittothenailrepository  #its2010-11again

This is a 100% reasonable prediction.  I would actually be okay with that, assuming we didn't lose by 20+ in the second (third?) round game.  Honestly this season has been a complete bonus compared to my pre-season expectations.

I would also be fine with Bread's prediction as long as we are not the first game of the day on Saturday like in 2012.  I would like to watch at least a few games of the 2nd (3rd) round before our season ends.

1) This match up is pretty even. The top two boxes show the numbers from our 2 games this year. The bottom 2 charts show the numbers for each team in Big 12 play.

2) K-State basketball hasn't lost 3 games in a row during a single season since January 2009.

3) ISU has the 2 best players on the floor, but Ejim and Kane couldn't us by themselves in Manhattan despite each of the having one of their top 3 games in Big 12 play.

4) I can't pick against the Cats. I really don't think the talking points of us "being tired" or "lacking momentum" matter much; I simply don't think 2 losses against 2 teams playing very well right now is enough evidence for that. Also, lots of people talk about our 2 losses in a row, but don't forget that ISU also lost 2 in a row before barely hanging on at home to beat OSU.
