25 shots just to play? 25 injections? 25 needles? Amazing.

Tough kid.  Don't forget about getting the broken nose and then standing in there the next game taking a charge.

I have always liked Will more than a lot of peeps on this site.  He isn't the savior and none of us who like him claim that... but I am glad he stayed and glad that NuWill still has some good OldWill traits in him

 :flush:
Oh, good grief.

nino isn't a senior, puff pieces are made for seniors.  or maybe you're implying it's because will is white?

i'm not implying anything other than the fact that this story has already been written seven different times by five different people including last year when will was just a junior, god forbid.

why do you think he gets a weekly article written about him?  i'm interested to hear your thoughts.

no idea. writers are lazy and will is local?

because there isn't that much in that piece that i don't feel like i've already read nine different times. maybe it's because i follow more than the average kc star subscriber though and i'm not their target audience. to me, shane would've been a more interesting piece. he's kind of an enigma. he has been here as long as will. he is currently battling an injury in a senior season filled with ups and downs and where some people expected more of him. write something about him. does he consider himself a leader? how has manhattan been to him? how is his senior season going? as expected? different? just give me something that mark jannsen hasn't already written two times about will and how he was hurt and how he was going to transfer and blah, blah, blah.

1) A Shane/Omari "Big Apple to Little Apple" story would be much more interesting to a lot of fans.

2) I'm not surprised a Kansas City paper/writer is choosing to write an article about a Kansas City kid, especially considering the typical newspaper buyer/subscriber.

Also, I couldn't make it past the second paragraph. Just awful writing about a boring subject. Bad combo.

Speaking of dead horses I heard Brad Underwood on the Tim Brando show telling stories about Frank and Andy Kennedy.

Brad was on with BITB Friday afternoon as well, prolly on the podcast page - I did not realize Brad was 25-2 this year

Also, I am sure these Will puff pieces write themselves after the author speaks with father Sprads.  I was a little disappointed there was no mention of sleeves, seemed there was a natural spot for it with the flak jacket part.
