Why didn't they keep the current stadium as the track place and build a football stadium where the track thing is being built (has been built?)?
well money obviously, and who would want to drive to the middle of the country to watch a d1 football game?

ask Kstate fans.

Enough with the big brother/little brother talk already!  You guys can't even get it right.  Instead you let some beak toting hipster tell you how it is.  Come on EMAW nation!  Have we no spine?  Or do we just need a quick history refresher?  Kansas State Agricultural College est. 1863 (or 1857 if you count Bluemont College as it's predecessor), Kansas University 1865.  That would make K-State the big bro and KU the little bro, regardless of undergrad enrollment and endowment.  My case?  I am 5'11" 170 lbs.  My younger brother is 6'5" 240 lbs.  He is and will always be my little bro.  Get it?.....

Memorial Stadium sucks and there is nothing KU can do to salvage that program.  EMAW!

They are going to release probably the day after we release Vanier 2.0 so it can be 20 times better and that kind of technical stuff.

it's about time Low-rents got its act together and did something about the slum villages they have devouring their town's residential market. those kids have rights and definitely deserve to live in decent housing.

OSU's stadium was a pig once upon a time. But yeah, we're just throwing our money away for nothing.

Our stadium may or may not be TBP Stadium level when all phases are complete, but it's going to look good.

They are out of ammo.  Every time they say anything we announce another $50 million in improvements.  They are afraid of an athletic dept arms race they will lose.

Someone has a ripe opportunity to step in and own Jayhox right now on the phog. I'm currently banned from there until next month, lol.

No one is going to confuse Hoax with someone who is smart.  K-State just updated its entire master plan.

Nearly $350 million dollars in new construction completed in the last 4 years.    Another $225 million about to commence in the next 12 months, another $150 million plus in the fundraising stage.    That doesn't include the nearly $1 billion that will be spent on NBAF.

The Anderson Football Center is a newer, slightly larger version of Vanier.   Vanier 2.0 will dwarf the AFC.

It's completely over my head.  Like, here's a really picturesque nature setting and I suppose they could just trace the football field lines in the sand, maybe hang a scoreboard off that palm tree and have fans sit up further on the beach and watch a game with the ocean in the background, and that would blow away really all of the traditional football stadiums.
