Did the 1-seed play first (and have the most rest throughout) back when there were 12 teams in? That's how I remember it, but it must've changed so that the 8-9 winner didn't have to play as early on Thursday after their Wednesday game*

ejim was the only player on the preseason all-b12 10* (11) deep. osu had 4, ku 3, baylor 2
