To be fair, Chery's injury was a much bigger deal for that team than anyone thought. He's a difference maker for that team.

Keep in mind, Baylor is the only team this year to hold ISU under 70 points. And only the 2nd to hold them to <1.00 PPP.

Yeah, this is one heck of a basketball league this year. 70% tournament teams is ridiculous.

And since late December you guys beat 5 of those teams and aren't going to quite make it. That's tough.

With the way these teams are playing, it will probably be a really fun game regardless of who you root for. Both teams have a great shot at the Sweet 16 (at least).

I like Fred more than Drew. I like how his teams run offense and I don't like zone defense much. I really dislike Heslip. Baylor people are much more strange than Iowa State people. Waco is much worse than Ames.

I just can't find anything compelling to make me want to root for Baylor.

MIR, I do understand your situation, but I still can't root for Baylor.

Well Waco is pretty trashy and Baylor people are really strange. I understand Iowa strange, it is very real, but Texas Baptist strange is much worse. JMHO.

I've lived in Dallas and I of course currently in this snowy hell & in my experience there is no doubt which fan base is more annoying. There are approximately 2715 Baylor fans that truly care about sports.

The best thing about Thursday's loss is that it completely freed up the weekend, and I'm sure as hell not going to let a isu/baylor basketball game change that.
