Just read the Wichita Eagle article about Marvin Clark's visit during the KU game. Anyone know more about him?

Cats' ticket into the Sunrise Academy pipeline.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Negative, the owners of Sunrise (which its odd to think about an individual owning a school) are huge bible-thumping Sooner boosters.  Pretty sure they play Boomer Sooner between periods every day, so almost as often as an OU football game.

High school version of me would rough ridin' hate OU simply out of spite if they pulled that crap at school.

It would be incredibly annoying. You're just walking to class, trying to not be too late to math but still trying to time it up so that you can talk to some girl you're crushing on. You catch up and are about to make a move, but then BAM! You can't hear anything because your school is blaring "Boomer Sooner" through their staticy speakers. You then go your separate ways and you feel defeated. Thanks, Sooner fan owners.

So that's why Buddy Hield went there.

I think you guys are overlooking what he said in the last paragraph.

“I had fun,” Clark said. “But I’m more about consistency. The two games I’ve been to at Kansas State have been crazy, but I want a consistent atmosphere like that every night. If it’s like that every game, that’s a huge plus.”

Basically saying we are only that crazy a couple times a year, imo

If he wants to go to a school where the crowds are consistently that good, he should become better at the game of basketball.

I don't think that is what he is saying.

Didn't he also say he wants to stay as close to home as possible?  We're in great shape, and we've been the favorite for months.  KU game was also the best possible game we could've had him at, I mean he rushed the floor.

Additionally, Buddy was an international exchange student from Bermuda and his host parents were those same OU Boosters.  Now hes a grown man capable of making his own decisions but i'm pretty sure this is the exact same thing Sandra Bullock got in trouble for in The Blind Side but with far fewer attractive middle aged women with bad southern accents (i'm sure their red-dirt accents are genuine).
