Guys...I'm happy we split the series with KU in roundball. Can you imagine their anger and attitudes if we would have beat them twice at the game that puts food on their table and roofs over their heads?

The campus in Lawrence would have been extremely depressing. We need to count our blessings that basketball is just a minor sport for us and we don't rely on it to pay the bills.

I mean they should be super excited and proud...they are the last team in the last sport we as fans will enter the field of play to celebrate.....that's some pretty elite air given our dominance in all things sport.

It's weird that #titletown is now legit, before last night we shouldn't be claiming a bball title.

In the last 7 meetings at AFW, KSU has won 3 times. All three of those times, the students stormed the court.

2008 was highly justifiable and perfectly fine in my mind - similar to KU football's 11 year drought that was ended in 2004.
2011 is harder to justify but KU was ranked #1 in the country and that KSU team had no business being in the same building let alone winning by as much as they did - i'll let it pass.
Last night is absolutely beyond me. Not only was it their 3rd victory in 7 years but they were they only 4 point dogs. To top it off, they had just upset the #15 team in the same building two days prior. At what point does an entire student body gain enough self respect to say, "hey, we beat them. Good, I expected it enough not to rush the court"?

I will preface this next part by saying that I have (relatively) good friends that went to K-State - between the F-KU chants and trying to justify last nights court storming because we stormed the field against WVU this year in football, I cannot comprehend what goes through their uneducated (sports or otherwise) mind.

T-Shirts:

If you have not heard by now: yes, it's true, they're making t-shirts to commemorate the loss. IMO, this makes the 'Texas State Champs' shirts look legitimate. Is Currie that desperate to raise money for his next addition to the football stadium that he has to garner funds from a regular season overtime win over big brother? Apparently so...

No less than FIVE different phog threads covering courtrushing....for fans that never do it* they sure seem to be covering all angles.

Of course given Self got outcoached out of his hairplugs and with Nino, DJamer, Shane, Omari, and Nigel doing much of the heavy lifting, I'd avoid the game itself as well.
