What I'm happiest about is that this kid was brave enough to come out, before the draft, knowing how homophobic the league is and how chickenshit most of the franchises are when dealing with any form of adversity.
I think he knew, deep down, that he had a real shot of not getting drafted. But I think it's a good first step for the sport that he was, regardless of round.
Hopefully, he makes a roster. I'll be rooting for him.
