Twitter is great during these things, I'm sitting the oscars out. See you in the spring for the Billboard & BET awards.

Why wouldn't Taylor sit down?

I was okay with her being young and enthusiastic and I'm not a Taylor fan at all.

My favorite performances of the night were; Imagine Dragons/Kendrick, Metallica, and Kacey Musgraves. People were critical of the Grammy's placing Musgraves right after Imagine Dragons/Kendrick but I thought she was awesome, it was the first time I heard her.

She was great, and looked/sounded way less white trashy than I've always seen her.

Justin Timberlake got absolutely mumped.
what category? I thought Royals was clearly the best song of the year and I haven't heard the album but ive heard people say that daft punk album was an all-timer, 20/20 is good though.

Did you guys hear Maclemore apologize to Kendrick for taking the awards he should have won? Yeezus got screwed imo, Kanye is a victim of his own success.

Is she not normally that way? I liked her because she reminded me of Natalie Maines and not that shitbag Miranda Lambert.

Kacey Musgraves is fantastic. I didn't watch it last night but did just now and she did great.

And LMAO at both Macklemore for positing that rough ridin' text he sent to Kendrick and LMAO again at Macklemore haters.

What constitutes a Maclemore hater? I know that I'm absolutely not but I want to know where the line is.

Imagine Dragons/Kendrick performance was amazing.

Metallica's performance with Long Long was pretty crappy, but did have a couple pretty cool parts.

Daft Punk/Stevie/Pharell was disappointing. (Not DP's fault)

Still get chills when Macklemore sings Same Love, that girl that does the chorus is damn good too.

Names aren't coming to me, but the piano/singing duet was surprisingly good.

That's all I can remember right now.

Hmm... I thought it was great. It also made me really want to get this instrument that Stevie was playing: http://www.marcodi.com/sights-sounds/videos/

They start at $2400 though :frown:

Who knew there was a difference between Song of the Year and Record of the Year (single)?  I told my buddy to put money with his bookie ($50) on Lorde winning Record of the Year for "Royals," but it won Song of the Year instead.

What is this crap?

Well I would think that anyone planning on gambling on it would know that, but it's definitely a strange distinction.
