looked and couldn't find one so now there is one

2 funerals so far this year, my aunt this past monday and my brother's best buddy growing up passed tonite so i'm guessing one next week

i used to look forward to returning to my hometown but now it seems that it is only for funerals

this is going at a record pace guys, i emotionally, mentally, physically & financially can't handle 24 funerals this year

well thanks but i guess i was overdo. have only had a handful of peeps pass in the past decade so i guess that run of luck is over

It gets overwhelming sometimes, but you just do what you gotta do. Don't eff at work, don't ignore your loved ones, and let time do the rest.

the one bright spot about funerals is that you get to see extended family that you wouldn't otherwise get to see (assuming it's someone in your family that died).

Good friend and coworker just got married and the next day his wife died of a blood clot. Just the worst.

pretty good actually. therapy helps, we took him out last night and had some drinks and he opened up a little bit. Text me this morning that he needed that so things are looking up I guess

condolences AST. Sometimes you get those years where life punches you in the gut for a few months in a row and you've got no choice but to ride it out. Try and stay close to your loved ones and support each other, and if that doesn't work then just sit there making sarcastic jokes with your equally jaded father like I do.

I'm sorry ast. I know the feeling, both my grandfathers died within 3 months of each other.
