Stan Weber Recap (810 Radio border patrol)
« on: January 24, 2014, 08:31:58 AM »
-810:  Very tough loss.  Stan:  Great game if neutral fan.  Toss up game going in and didn't disappoint.  Was tough matchup for K-State.  Big and physical inside.  Ending was heartbreak.  Tough stretch of schedule this week.

-Winning at ISU will be very tough (week off, three straight loses, etc.).....but, K-State matches up better with them.

-Marcus Foster, with family there, tried too hard.  Pressed and forced things.  I think it's a one-game deal.  But, he's definitely banged up right now and fighting through multiple issues.  But, don't think it'll end up being a long slump.  He's got to play well for K-State to do well offensively.

-If Marcus is on, K-State can be 70+ points a game team and, with their defense, can make some noise in the league.  But, MF has to be on for this to be possible.

-ISU:  Their center (Neange) leads them in assists and plays on perimeter a lot.  If he does this, it plays right into K-State's hands.  They'll shoot a lot of threes.....if they are on, it'll be tough.  If they shoot normally, K-State will be just fine and will be 50/50 game.  If they shoot like they did against KU, K-State will win with no problem.  (Stan seems pretty confident).

I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

If the floodgustbirds play anyone like they played KU, they'll lose... unless the refs bail them out with a million freethrows again.

Thanks, SD. Neange is garbage FWIW.
