I think it would be cool to schedule a home and home with Nebraska.

I'd rather do one with Colorado.

Every fan of every school thinks scheduling Indiana or Minnesota is a good idea.

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

i think we should adopt the basketball only play where you recruit philo.  we kind of already have.

I can only assume that's what @UTSA is.

The fact that we have to go @ any school in Texas not named the goddamn University of Texas pisses me off. We're K-State for chrissakes, we are above that.

Yeah. Pretty weird. Also, I don't think San Antonio is anywhere near Dillon. What are we even doing??

well i mean if you can't understand the appeal of playing in a good sized destination type city that hosts bowl games against a team that you should pretty easily beat and also happens to be within driving distance to a large number of alumni as well as current, former and hopefully future players then i'm not really sure what to tell you.

Hey guys coaches (recruiters) promise crap all the time to recruits to get them to sign.  Sometimes they deliver, like when we played Loyola Chicago for Jake.

Its the nature of scheduling now. It used to be you could get 2 for 1 deals with MAC level teams, but now you have to go down to the bottom level FBS teams for a 2 for 1 for most programs. Only FCS teams go 1 game paydays with BCS level teams anymore and anyone else is a 1 for 1 or maybe you can swing a neutral site type game like in Arrowhead.

I don't think any recruits have or ever will choose K-State for any single factor.

yes. which is why when forced to schedule a 2 for 1 with one of those teams, san antonio is about as good as it gets. close to alumni, recruits, former players. nice city. good weather. i mean do i need to go on? would people rather do a 2 for 1 with akron?

Really crappy FBS teams (FIU, FAU, some sun belts) still seem like they will do a game without a return game.

I cannot wait to travel to San Antonio. Great out of conference scheduling for recruiting and making the players happy. Plus, that riverwalk!

I hope we keep them on the schedule get paid the $500k. If we do I will be making the trip to San Antonio. Hopefully by then the Fannman won't push me in the Riverwalk.  :ohno:
