His team lost its bowl game, the NFL hasn't come sniffing, our guy Bill showed him up (and will again), and no other non-Rutgers NCAA team seems to have any interest in hiring him as a HC or in any other capacity. Is Rutgers his final stop until he sells cars for a living?

Got a message over the weekend that Ranni decided to skip the Desire trip this year. Probably does not want to prove DGale's stories are true. He took Indy to San Juan, Puerto Rico. No doubt getting his year-end "release"....possibly in the Ladies room.
As for Rutgers being the end of the road to used car sales, it's kind of funny he ended up there. Some NFL coaches he knew told him at the end of last season that he should consider another line of work. One told him not to go to Rutgers because it is where "coaching careers go to die."
He told me that if he leaves football he's going to work with his consultant buddy in DC. It's kind of a Blackwater type of outfit (so he says). Picture Ranni in a black suit. Stern look. Ninja moves. The mysterious strains of a Seal song playing in the background as he strides into the fray with some kind of Pentagon-level clearance...
