What real purpose does it serve? The BWWB announcers didn't seem to like it, and I don't either. Coach Snyder is not a fan of it. Increasingly, it seems silly, like the Wave.

Lots of idiots seemed to hate the BWWB announcers. Take that FWIW.

Most coaches enjoy it, because it is a sign of respect.

Those with medical knowledge -- could an ice bath cause an elderly person to die?  :sdeek:

George O'Leary said he avoided it last night because he has a bad heart. But he was clearly drunk, so I don't trust his medical knowledge.

I would think you could kill an elderly person with any medium imaginable... :dunno:

I've literally never heard of this practice.  Why not?  Is there like some sort of cultural associations behind it?  What do people do with their kids?

I think Snyds didn't like that particular shower because there was still more football to play, and the opposing team may take it as a slight. Celebrating before the game is officially over.

Also, probably upset they got gatorade all over his lucky cotton bowl jacket.

It seemed kind of weird to me. I don't see how kids being there or not being there would have any impact whatsoever on my enjoyment of the wedding. Then again, I didn't go to it so maybe it was amazing or something.  :dunno:

I think Snyds hated it also because it was super in his face and got in his eyes and stuff.

Personally, I found the bww bowl bath uncomfortable to watch. It's pretty obvious Mueller just doesn't have that thing in his head which most people have that tells them stuff like, "you've gone too far" or "turn it off/stop you big dummy".

Makes for one hell of a d-end, tho.
