You're an idiot if you think tonight's game has anything to do with anyone's desire to hire CAB.

Well, the good thing for Baylor is Art isn't going anywhere.

Not sure about that. One bad game won't deter UT if they really think he's the solution.
He's getting over $4 million for the next ten yrs.  No school will hire him above that amount when he can't beat an AAC team.

Texas, tho, and they can find some way to rationalize this meltdown, especially if Art tries to throw Phil under the bus.
It's not Phil's fault.  Offense didn't look that good tonight.

It's a shame we didn't have our crap together on offense enough when we let these guys beat us.

No TLBL or TT for that one iirc. Plus Kip got KTFO early in the game.

I agree that it wasn't Phil's fault. The score just provides Briles with a superficial out.

Texas will not consider a coach that is not undefeated for his career, thank you very much.

This. UCF's only loss this year was to South Carolina and that was by 3 points. And everyone knows bowl games are meaningless anyway.

I hope the Oklahomans can save us from complete embarrassment.  It looks like the results are starting to bear fruit to confirm the dog crap conference we went 5-4 in this year.

Especially after tonight. Conference should call an emergency meeting to consider immediate expulsion.

Even if UCF was horrible it would be dumb for this game to say your overall opinion of any coach who has 10; years of head coaching experience. If anything it would make him more attractive to me because it makes idiots undervalue him.

This is nitpicking but I was less impressed with Petty as the year went on. His accuracy and touch aren't the greatest and he gets sacked too easily. He's got okay speed and strength but he just looks stiff from an athletic standpoint. We improve in the secondary and bring a little more rush next year and I could see a W in Waco.

Was that a reasonable salary six hours ago? I don't recall anyone anywhere questioning his recent extension and raise when it was announced.

Baylor thinks he's worth it, but I don't think there's any other options out there for him.  He hasn't  really done crap to be paid at that rate.

But if UT is in love with him, $$ won't matter to them. Whether they're in love with him is the real question.
