If you look at what each has done for the program Jpull is way ahead of beasley.

JFC,

Pullen doesn't make it unless he's an All-American next year.  Don't shoot the messenger -- that seems to be the line of delineation, and I doubt it changes.

Beasley should have been put up there on Senior Day, but at least this way we can lure him back to the sticks for a big ceremony and whatnot (assuming it happens, which it should).

Dude,  JPullz is a first team AA next year.

I wonder how they would count HM AA?

3 NCAAs in 4 years would be a pretty good career, especially if we make it to the 2nd weekend again.

open up a KSU Latin American hall of fame and let him be the inaugural member.

Love this idea.

I would think HM AA should be enough if he's the all-time scoring leader and has that kind of tourney success, but then you're sort of leaving it to chance (and the idiots that run things in our AD).  Better for him to just make the actual team.

Again, not good enough if you don't have Henson up there.

He would be the closest comparison.  Henson was HM AA and All Big 8 twice.  If Pullen actually makes one of the AA teams next year, he will "surpass" Henson in that regard.

Pullen shouldn't be discussed until Beasley is up there.  Really, no one should.

Agree completely with this.  But Beasley being up there shouldn't even be a discussion.

Slightly OT, but I'm looking forward to the anti-climatic "peel back some crappy tarp to reveal the dates of the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 appearance" moment to open the season next year.   :ksu:

I don't think Lon Kruger was ever an AA.  However, he was Big 8 POY twice.

Of course, lack of AA status is why I do not support Steve Henson ever being in the rafters.

I just assumed Kruger had to get at least one AA, but he didn't.  How was he Big 8 POY twice and not AA?

I hate us for not having Beasley in the rafters.  Hate.

Pullens number in my opinion should be retired either before or the same time as beasleys. If you look at what each has done for the program Jpull is way ahead of beasley.

I think Pullen is a lock if he gets: 2 first-team All-Conference seasons + all-time leading scorer + 3rd team AA.

Also, I assume Beasley will be in the next "round" of retirements.  Probably along with someone older like F.I. Reynolds (1917), or maybe one of the coaches or something.  Pullen would be after that.

Hopefully, Judge puts up a career that is worthy also.  (A guy can dream, right?)
