fake field goal run to the short side of the field that gets stuffed out of bounds for a 3 yard loss

flea flicker that immediately gets waters sacked and he fumbles it for a scoop n' score

Running Hubert at the wildcat with Jake Waters an eligible receiver, both Waters and Mack Brown then slip on a banana peel and Hubert's pass gets intercepted

triple reverse that takes 20 seconds to develop and gets blown up for a 15 yard loss and kills the drive

double reverse pass from Hubert to Waters gets called in the huddle during a timeout then stiverson false starts during the cadence

bill finally calls a good trick play where michigan is out of alignment but the play is canceled because fanning goes streaking down the field

If Gardner can't play (still on crutches as of today) you won't need any tricks at all.

If Gardner plays, tricks are still probably unnecessary.

We ran for negative yards in like 4 games, and not because we didn't try to run, we tried, a lot.

See, Bill would take this information and put in some trick plays just so we can cough up the football at stupid times. Once your team gets confident, THEN Bill lets Jake call his own plays and depend on the defense to get the ball back. We're still not sure if this is meant to mock the opposing team...
