Yes.  I am preemptively sad and will be worse after it happens.

By setting expectations low, initially, i'll be less disappointed by the inevitable and more excited about the upset.  Anyway it shakes out it should be a fun time. I had a blast at the WVU game, and will have fun at this game.  I think the 1 game a year (or every other year) at Intrust is a good thing.  Wichita should really be a much larger recruiting base than it currently is.  KU grads all move to KC, the only KU fans in Wichita are t-shirt fans.   I also think we should have an alternating series with WSU, their program has enough recognition that its no longer a lose-lose, to play them.

For right now, who knows what will happen when Marshall leaves. Just look at where we are a little over a year removed from Frank. Marshall may be gone by the time that those games are played, even if we started the series next year.

Scheduling is a gamble, i'm sure when this game got on the schedule at Intrust, no one thought it would be as hard as it looks to be to sell out the place.  I'm sure when we put No. Colorado on the schedule, we didn't wager on ending up on that side of a lose-lose matchup.  I'm not saying its a must have going forward, just simply that there isn't any compelling reason not to.

I have three xmas parties in four days starting thursday.  I am out.  I will be super useless that day as Thursday is a binge all night thing at my house and Friday is a binge all night and hit a hotel in lawrentucky.  Sat is going to only last about 5-6 hrs for me(sleeping).  Then right back on that bike for Sunday afternoon again at my house with a diff group. 

Gonna be real.

I always just park in Oldtown (bar district NE of Arena) and walk... if you try to park near the stadium they charge for parking ,and its not really much closer

I'm all for Burn It Down, but to say that we aren't still defending Big 12 champs would be a lie. Also, that was something Frank was never to accomplish.
