Awesome tdaver.

Where is that?

(Unless it's from, like, your front door. In which case, answer at your own risk. )

Bump - need a @SkinnyBenny churning run / bonkers sleep update

I've been churning so much that I can't stay up past 9:30 most nights because of the looming bonkers sleep.  But today is my day off, so I stayed up to 11pm last night.  :Woohoo:

Suunto movescount app has a pretty cool gps movie feature.  Upload run from a suunto watch or I think you can just use the app like mapmyrun.  You can also take pics along the way and add them to the movie. This one's from my run this morning.

This app is great, thanks for the heads up!

Wanted to upload my trail run from this morning, but it's not working.

Edit: just took a while to upload is all. Pretty sweet...

Haven't churned all that much lately BUT I'm in Austin and I'm about to go to churn at Hamilton Pond!

Trying to get back in a running groove. I like the stress release and healthy brain vibes. Not sure my ankle is going to make it though.

Guys whenever I run in Texas hill country type places (or really any hilly area), my left knee hurts a little bit but it goes away after five days. Sup?

First trail race done. I enjoyed the race, not the overabundance of mud. I wasn't able to run when it was too muddy/puddley/slippery, which kinda sucked because that's what I was there to do. Others were good at it, but I have no desire to get good at it. So, I'm looking forward to doing another under dry conditions.

My first trail run was really disappointing too, chum. It was at night in this weird small town and I got lost a bunch and stuff. Plus the B&B that me and Mrs. SB stayed in was kinda old and dusty. :frown:

Knees are weird.

I ran six miles on Saturday, which is the longest I have run in a long time. It was hard, and I didn't like it. Thinking about a half marathon in October, though.

Wonder, do the half.  It is a great race.  Just the right distance to challenge someone without the body stress of a full marathon.
I usually run the Rock n Roll in Las Vegas each winter.  My brother-in-law talked me into just doing the 10k this year.  That is a great venue for a run.

There's a half in New Orleans coming up in a few montha that I might do. (If you feel like traveling for yours you can come run it with me and you can stay with me and Mrs. SB.) I'll You'll definitely be able to do a half by then. Just increase your mileage by like 0.5-1 miles per week.

I'm old enough that I don't care how fast I run, just training and finishing a run is my goal.  I've never been fast, but now I truly run for e exercise and the love of running.

Anyone doing the Color Run in Manhattan Saturday?
I'm going, then the Plaza 10k in KC on Sunday.

Prior to the last few weeks, I hadn't run 3 miles at a time since high school.  I've been banging 3 milers out like its my job, and at a pretty decent pace to boot.

It's probably too late to register for the Plaza 10K, right?
