No I have not.  I also just learned that the on purpose lines carved in sidewalks are called control joints.  I also learned about expansion joints.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

I have been getting back into to it for the past couple months.  I run outside.  Started at about 1.5 miles per run, and doing about 3 miles per run now, but it really sucks after I hit the 2 mile mark.  It's weird.  Like I am perfectly fine at 2 miles and then it hits me hard.  Though, I have only been doing 3 miles a run for a little over a week.  I try and do it 3-6 times per week, but we'll see what happens when it gets hot outside, I may puss out.

3-4 times per week is plenty. Stretch one run a little further than the other two/three.

ran outside this morning. my treadmill has a nice cushion'y bounce but the concrete is hard and the outside of my feet feel bad about it.

Even with the Mizunos?

new ones aren't here yet. though I have a strong feeling that they won't help given I suck ass at running.

6 times per week is way too many imo. Your muscles need time to recover. What goes wrong after 2 miles? Muscles or breathing?

I do 3 runs per week, or try to. Two smallies with this big ol' running group thingy in NOLA and one on Saturdays that's considerably longer.

I didn't even know I could run that fast!

I haven't really ever run distance before. I started running maybe 4 weeks ago, going running once or twice a week, and I wanted to get an idea of where I was so I really pushed myself.

If you run a 5:30 split and have never run before, well, that is just unbelievable.

I ran track in high school, but did sprints and hurdles.

Without trying to hard previously, I was able to run 7:15 pace for 4 miles. I expected to be something like 12:30 for two miles.

I didn't mean to imply that you lied.  Just that it is an unbelievably fast run for low experience or anyone that isn't competing.

Evidently you missed a calling.

Haha yeah sorry. I think I reacted defensively because I'm skeptical myself.

This does make me want to compete this summer. Maybe I'll do a 5k

There's a 5K pace distribution chart on this page:

I ran between terminals at MSP today. As I ran to the end of F, I was thankful that I'd been running and biking through the winter and spring. Made the flight. Barely. :Woot:

My muscles usually die before my lungs, but if it's humid my lungs seem to go first.

If I wait a couple days, my next run is easy as crap.  However, I am running to shed pounds, not because I care about how far I run.

I think I will start getting  back into lifting, and do running every other day between lifts.
