You should get His and Her matching denim jackets, that way she knows that you're in it for the long haul.

If you're going to go a bit impersonal, I recommend a spa package. You could get a couples package. I always ask for a spa package for Christmas. Willes will not do it with me, so last year he got my BFF's husband to buy her one too. We had a great day, and met up with Willes and her husband afterwards for a nice dinner.

Or you could just ask your girlfriends what they want.

Usually I suck at gift giving but this Christmas I have it nailed.  Valentines is a vacation I already bought.  Now I get to kick my feet up until her birthday in September.

Well I'm already buying her what she wants but I want to do something extra (in addition to helping her show off her buns).

It is and it's not fun. Now for my parents, I totally want them to buy me what I asked for. Bring home that flat screen tv please.

Usually FANw just finds something she likes and often buys it herself. I do the same. Works.

I suppose.

For us we just thought why not make it easy to get what we really want and not make it some guessing game. The surprise gift part is more for the kids.

A gift certificate is very impersonal. And a guy buying lingerie for his girlfriend is very stressful for the lady. Then you feel like you have to deliver something.
you do have to deliver

Look at the stuff she's got and think about how it could be enhanced (I'm not talking about cosmetic surgery). Take a real look at the jewelry or the clothes she wears. Maybe you can find something similar or that would complement it. What kind of books does she read? I'm sure you can find plenty of other choices in the same genre. Pajamas - not lingerie - from VS are a good choice.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Same. We usually sit together and browse Amazon while boozing it up and then high five when we pull the trigger on our respective irresponsible purchases. This year, I got carried away and also bought my dad a pair of night vision goggles.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."
