1. Bay Area - My best friend and his wife (who just so happens to be my cousin) just moved there, so that'd be a great connection to have. Love the weather. Love the Warriors. Love the idea of recycling and being organic/all natural and what not. Mrs. Stevesie and I went there for our honeymoon and have both talked about moving there (non-seriously) quite a bit.
2. Flagstaff - I've enjoyed my time in this city. Has a college town feel but all the advantages of a big city. You're only 30 minutes to an hour away from ski slopes, and that would be a huge advantage for me. K-State seems to go to Arizona for bowls every few years so that'd be an easy trip for me and a fun time to hang out with friends.
3. Nashville - 10 hours from here, so not too far from family if we wanted to come back from extended holidays. Would love to be able to do something, ANYTHING in that music scene. And the mountains there are gorgeous. I was surprised at the lack of sountherness, at least within the city limits.
At the end of the day, I doubt I'll ever leave MHK though. I can't get over the convenience of going to K-State games. I think NBAF is going to make this town one of the best in the nation, and I'm very excited to see how that plays out. Obviously I believe it's one of the best towns in the nation already, but I think after NBAF has been established for a while even unbiased observers will consent to that. And there's few places that can support all the locally owned businesses that Manhattan does, which is a pretty big deal for me. So yeah, go cats.
