one, two, one, two, check it out. you are ordering tacos and you have the option of hard or soft. this is at a place like taco bell or similar and the soft shells are flour. quien quires is the pregunta. the pregunta at hand. the shell in your hand, that is. so ready set go. this. is. snackoff. taco edition, dorks.

Answer is crunchy. You can turn it into a taco salad if you get bored with it.

Soft tacos are the boneless wing of Mexican food.  No thanks.

i love it when my crunchy taco gets all soggy and starts falling apart. or when i bite into it and half the shell cracks and then everything falls apart.

just kidding. soft. all. day.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

i've never quite got the double decker dorks or triple d's as my friends and i all call them. the shell is nothing more than an edible bowl for the tastier insides and you dorks have gone and basically stuck a bowl inside of a bowl. because why? because you like eating bowls? is that it? why not just save us all some time, drive to the grocery store, get a bunch of bowls and then go back home and just keep eating until you pass out and leave the actual taco eating to those of us that like eating tacos.

I was a soft kid but grew up into a hard man.  Hard it is, pass the watery hot sauce.  TIA

Soft by a slim margin. I won't begrudge hard, they are good too.

This was about to be one hell of a snack-off until the "get both" option was added. Crisis averted.

whenever a food loser picks the wrong option he always blames it on how hard the other option is to eat. have you guys noticed that? wings with actual bones in them? my god i'd have wing sauce all over my face/hair. no way. crunchy tacos? i think not. it might possible get a little soggy or whatever and break apart. soft all the way, is what i say. it's like eating is long division and i'm in a room full of second graders.

I try to avoid Taco Bell if I can. But if the gringo in me wins out or I'm just in a hurry and hungry in the Detroit airport or something, I bypass all of the above and just get a Crunchwrap Supreme (w/fire sauce - better make it a half dozen or more packets, and a Mr. Pibb - don't think they have Dr. Pepper).

Admittedly, I didn't read RD's description and parameters before I answered the poll. I answered "soft."

Soft tacos (with two corn tortillas if machine pressed or just one if hand pressed) are TRUE tacos mexicanos. Lettuce? Cheese? Nope. Top 'em with cilantro, onions (minched/diced), chile (the sauce, not the soup), and lime (MAYBE some pico de gallo and avocados). Or those pickled red onions if way down South in México or Central America.

My faves are tacos de pastor (but tripas, barbacoa, bistec, pollo - they're all good too; not big on brain tacos).
I'm in it purely for the entertainment value.

Uhm, no. If he made an option for _FENCE it would be Doritos Locos.

Also, fire/verde sauce combo is a must on any of these options.
