Ok first off, she's Portuguese not Spanish.
Secondly, the part where the sex crazed guy goes to Wisconsin: what the hell is that doing in the movie?
Finally, did you guys know the dreamboat who works with Laura Linney is freaking Xerxes from 300? Wow right

Holy crap.  Was just talking about that dude with my Brazilian colleague (he's from Brazil).  The actor.  And my colleague.  Both of them are Brazilian.

Oddly enough conversation shifted to grooming of the pubic region.

All the stories are great. All of them. (Except Colin going to Wisconsin. It's kind of painful but whatevs.)

Also the Love Actually surprise wedding ending may or may not have been recreated IRL at a wedding in MHK a few years ago.

guys lets rate our favorite story from love actually. ill go first!

1- liam neeson/stepson
2- billy mack
3- hugh grant/chubby girl
4- keira knightley/walking dead guy
5- colin firth/Spanish girl
6- stand in porn people
7- sex craved Collin
8- wife from Truman show/hot bod guy
9- professor snape (bad person)/wife/mistress

Kiera Knightley story pissed me off. If they want to do a forbidden love story, they should have it be mutual in which neither can act, not one way. I mean, she kissed the dude, and she's never going to accidentally let that slip, ruining her husband and his best friend's relationship?

And the Alan Rickman one may have been my favorite. Not my favorite, as it was hard to watch because I teared up a bit when she has to go to her bedroom to cry, and then comes back peppy as ever in front of her kids. It was so, so real, probably the realest of them all.

I liked the porn story because it seemed so backwards. They meet by committing sexual acts with one another, only to go on their first date and not even kiss.

Didn't really care for the Collin story. The other ones were at least believable, but then Collin gets to America and enters a world of Porky's, Fast Times and American Pie (which is ironic because of Shannon Elizabeth) and it doesn't seem to be happening in the same world as the other 7 stories.

Liam Neeson was obviously the best one.

Yeah also Shannon Elizabeth doing a weird awful fake southern accent while supposedly being from Wisconsin was LOL. Man. Brits don't know ANYTHING about U.S. Geography.

Ugh, Love Actually is on AMC right now. Can't change the channel. So glad it's getting some credit here.

Also, yes, eff Snape. Cheating bastard.

Question that came up at Xmas party this year: do you guys think Snape did anything more with Dark Corners Dark Deeds than give her the necklace?

Home alone 2:

Kevin has to sleep upstairs again! And his mom blames what happened to him in HA1 on his bad attitude? They are the worst parents.

True story from SB ladycolleague told today:

"I first saw that movie when it came out with my high school boyfriend. We'd been dating for a while and he said he wanted to watch it with me. We get all cuddled on the couch and start watching it and I'm sure it's going to be the moment where he finally tells me he loves me. Nope. They get to the part with the flip card guy on Keira Knightley's doorstep, and when he holds up the sign that says 'At Christmas you tell the truth', I'm all HERE WE GO! And he leans in and confesses to me that he's gay."

So, I watched "Jingle All the Way" for the first time the other day.

 :star: :star: :star: :star: :raccoon:

Phil Hartman, tho!
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
