vomiting
« on: December 03, 2013, 08:50:03 AM »
 :Ughhh:

I threw up last night for the second time since I was a very small child. I remember vaguely throwing up a lot when I was little but no specific instances. Had to be terribly traumatic as a little kid because holy crap it was awful. It smells gross and it hurts my sternum and the cold sweat is just so weird. felt better afterwards, tho.

i threw up recently for the first time in about a decade, and it was terrible.  i busted blood vessels in around my eyes because of the extreme force of the puking.

Son of KK threw up last night too.  A bunch.  Was not very fun for anyone.

i did it a few months ago. the cramping stomach stuff was far worse for me than the actual throwing up. the throwing up was welcomed. so horrible though.

It's pretty much tradition I throw up the morning of our bowl game (two years in a row now).  I'm more of a day-after puker than a night-of, although it used to be the latter.

Throwing up is the worst thing in the world.  Just the absolute worst.  I haven't thrown up since Dec. 29 2004.

Every 45 minutes until he was empty starting at 6:45ish, then more once we let him chug too much pedialyte.

have you guys ever seen someone dry heave while shirtless? i've seen a drunk frat bro wretch and it gives you some insight into how miserable an experience it is for the body.

throwing up while drunk is way better than throwing up while sober.

unless it's in a wrong place that causes major problems

It's the cold sweats that are the worst.

No, the worst is when your body is convulsing and food and bile and stomach juice is burning it's way up your esophagus and being projectiled out of your mouth.  Cold sweats can be 2nd worst.

The absolute worst is when you have food poisoning or the flu and everytime you wake up the first thing you have to do is vomit.

are all of you guys complete idiots? the worst is when your stomach is cramping and turning and you know you're going to throw up and you want to throw up because you know you'll feel better immediately afterwards but you don't know if you'll throw up in two minutes or fifteen and so you just lay there trying to find the right position so that it isn't as horrible.

most of my alcohol-related vomiting was the next day (not a gigantic sample size, but like 80% of the time).  throwing up at like 4pm the next day is like the worst feeling ever IMO.  i could be really weird though

Last time I puked from not alcohol was 2006.  I almost always puke the next day when I'm very hung over.  If I feel like I'm going to puke while I'm lying down, then all I have to do is stand up to puke.  It works 100% of the time.  On my feet and I'm puking in t-minus 30 seconds.  Where if I stayed down I might be able to ward it off indefinitely, maybe even forever.  I always go for the puke obvs.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.
