50-50 cat to hawk ratio based upon the clams measuring of fandom ratio analysis.  our band was louder than theirs, so they'd play rave music over the jumbotron speakers to drown us out.
when willie did the k-s-u cheer, i thought the place was embarrassingly loud for KSU.

I spilled a large Pepsi all over some squawk lady fan sitting in front of me and her son with his free state letter jacket, on purpose, like the entire thing.  Played it off like it was an accident but it wasn't.  You should have seen her hair covered in Pepsi, she was pissed.  :lol:  also keyed 3 cars on the way to our car after the game, classic

Towards the end of the game some of the K-State fans were talking crap to some of the Squawks that were leaving early. One of the Squawks replied, "Just wait until basketball season, we will kick your ass!" About 10 K-State fans stood up and applauded and cheered this guy, then started chanting Villanova. Also heard them say something about Wiggins being way overrated.

It was my first KU/KSU game in Lawrence.  Had a pretty good time.  The old KU fan three seats over from me seemed pretty ticked that there were so many KSU fans around.  He booed loudly when the cats took the field prior to kickoff and a few more times during the game, especially when the Waters run to the pylon was ruled a touchdown by the replay booth.  A 10-year-old kid tried to play a nasty prank on me when I first entered the stadium.  He was renting seat cushions right next to the entrance, and when I declined to rent one, he said "That's OK.  Good luck today!" and patted me on the back and in so doing stuck a big KU sticker on the back of my jacket.  Good thing I was wise to him and checked it before getting all the way to my seat.  Would have been very embarrassing.

They were exactly that way when I went in 2000 with some friends.  We ended up chatting with KU fans on the "home" side who were depressingly "meh" about everything.  I felt mildly ashamed.  13 years later still same thing apparently.
