I guess I'm just not that angry. I think people are really just angry that Sams didn't play much.

I think there is a lot of this.   Jake did not play  very well in the 2nd half but the playcalling and the penalites were head scratching to say the least.  We scored on 3 straight drives, Waters started next drive and we got 1st down and then Sams came in and lost 7 yds in 2 plays.  That drive stalled and our Offense never looked good after that it seemed.

Im not faulting Sams what so ever, but Bill tried to get Sams in the game in 1st hf and did not like the look of what he saw.  Sams should have played in the 4th.  Don't get that at all, but going into wind I am not sure Sams at qb in 3rd would have produced much better results

Meh, they are about equal in talent and I think the schedule this year was a little tougher. 7-5 is about right for this team.

Waters was not good against OU.   3 throws does not make a good game.

Sams could've made every deep pass to Lockett that Waters did (he was wide open and had his coverage beat) and he would've been a legitimate threat to run on them. We let rough ridin' Big-game Bob beat us at our own game of dominating the T.O.P and we tried to play catch up with horrible dink and dunk passing. Yes, we would've had a much better chance at winning that game with Sams under center.

The first and 42 was probably the most embarrassing moment in an opposing stadium since The Phantom Punter. We all know Bill can't get the 4* recruits; seems like he should be able to at least get 2* and 3* players who don't play like idiots.
