John Currie needs to go Bill a line chart, that chart should show how much the athletic department has to pay Anderson Hall every semester for Bill's players.   Bill will notice very quickly that over the years that line has increased every year, and has rapidly increased over the last 5 or 6 years.  So, while Ahearn donations more than cover it every year, it eats up a bigger chunk of the record Ahearn donations . . . almost every year.

So Bill, you want to sign some out-of-state kids?  Great, well, K-State athletics has to pay full freight out-of-state tuition for those guys.

Bill wanted a training table at the football stadium.  Great, K-State athletics built one and now must pay for the whole staff and food, not just contract with Food Services.  It may actually be a savings, but I doubt it, since Currie decided to feed all scholarship athletes, even partials, it costs a few bucks.

Then there's the thing about meeting the conferences TV obligations, or maybe Bill would just rather be in another conference that plays on Thursday, or Wed. or Friday all the time?

"Thursday nights pay for players from texas" is a bumper sticker I could get behind.

Not only is the scoop incredible but if you used the scoop to your advantage, you likely saved a crazy amount of money on accommodations.

:Woohoo: Booked it one night for $160.  No rooms available that night, but the night before is now in excess of $225.
