will the oral roberts win be a big enough signature win to get us into the "big dance" or do we need another sig win?

i don't  know the answer to the question, rick.  but i do know that this wildcat team needs to improve in every facet of the game.
quite frankly, i can't wait to see how this team evolves into a champion!

our facilities are A++ but i wonder, are they making our players too soft?  have our players become spoiled and lost their work ethic?

i have to think oscar is going to ban them from the facility, maybe they've been working too hard.  when you over-prepare, over-practice, your body takes time to heal.

maybe it's time for the Rocky IV training approach

idk guys, i see a championship team like this fall to charolotte and wonder, what has happened to our champs?  smh.

one thing that i keep pinning my hopes on as a strong maybe is that this kstate team is currently like jimmy the rabbit smith in the first part of the movie 8 mile. he's had a rough go, dumped by his girl, moved back in with his mom and just froze on the battle stage. i'll call this the "preseason" part of the movie. what doesn't kill him makes him stronger though and jimmy aka "rabbit" goes on to (even in a small way) rise above what people (himself included) though he was capable of. that leads us to denouement. jimmy is back on that same battle stage which caused him to freeze earlier but this time he is older, wiser and takes out his competition (the free world members) with hardened moves of a trained assasin. the denouement is what i'll refer to as tourney time, with rabbit taking out opponent after opponent and that's my hope with this team. this team struggles early, faces huge adversity and then when the denouement comes around they are blasting the split lickety's (ku), lotto's (kentucky) and papa doc's (duke) of the big dance aka battle stage aka ncaa basketball tournament.

Guys, the team needs our support tomorrow. Without the fans cheering them on, they will lose.

I know most people are like, eff it, football school, but I'm really going to miss being good at basketball. :frown:

Glad I got to be a student during some of the best years. If only I got here one year earlier, I would have seen the E8 team.

Sunny, I was there from '03-08. I don't want to hear any whining or bitching OK? Do you know what I saw in those years? I'm still talking to a therapist about it, OK?

It was fun knowing we could go out and beat just about anybody at any time, especially at home.  Now there is no hope for anything to speak of and even worse, nobody really cares.  Sad, really.

Yeah, man. Rough years. I didn't even need to stay for a 5th year, but I did it for Beasley and broadcasting and my selfish self of seeing something great. It was worth the 10K!

Bunch of not real K-State fans in here.

Daris, Clams, lets go cheer on the Cats with class without these stick-in-the-mud-puds.

i'm thinking that wink might be currie in this whole thing but for the rough ridin' life of me i can not even come up with a single thought on who britney murphy would be. also i do think we'll need one more sig at least to ball in the tourney because of how down the conference is. god damnit big 12.

thanks tobias. sometimes on here i feel like i imagine a young future would feel like. like, i'm capable of much more than this place but here i am still just hosting weekly battles and hanging out with sol george and cheddar bob. i just don't know sometimes.

also the more i think about it, the more i'm becoming convinced that even one more sig win would not be enough. like maybe if we can nag isu at home and then either get one from george washington or tulane. i gotta think that would do.
