There are 3 guys in my office that do this (and at least one person on this blog). I get that it is great hygiene and your dentist loves you for doing it, but isn't it kind of gross? I mean, I walk in to the bathroom where a bunch of people pee and poop and here are these guys brushing away. Sometimes it smells like other people's poop in there or they are pooping 6 feet away while this guy is brushing his teeth!

are they brushing their teeth after lunch, or at random times during the day?

most of the time when i poop, the poop goes in the toilet. yeah, it smells, but its not like i brush my teeth in a different place than i poop at home.

not a big deal imo
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

i brush my teeth at work twice a day every day and it's fantastic. i have to talk to people quite a bit in close proximity so i need to be at the tip top of the breath game. i drink coffee on my way in so boom right when i get here it is toothbrush time and then again after lunch. it should be pointed out that i have my own bathroom that i don't share with anyone. just got done brushing and saw this thread. man my mouth feels great!

combing your hair at work is weirder imo. there's a guy in my office with very soft fluffy hair that combs it every time he's in the bathroom.

My poop smells great. Other people's poop does not. Do you brush your teeth at work?

until about a year ago we had the automatic soap dispensers but still had to turn on the water by hand. felt like I was living in Somalia.

the janitor here is a little strange (i think he's slow or something) and in the mornings when he makes his rounds, he will stand in front of an occupied stall and just wait for the person to leave so he can restock the tp.  kinda creepy taking your morning poo and open the stall door to see him standing there staring at you

i went to school with a hippie who did not like wearing shoes inside. girls said she would use the bathroom while barefoot as well.  :Yuck:

Did I tell you guys about the hippie dude that doesn't wash his hands after pooping because he doesn't want to kill the innocent bacteria?

what about the guy that always comments to anyone else in the bathroom about how he's going to stink up the place (if he hasn't pooped yet) or "i wouldn't go in there!" (after he is done)

i hate that guy.

Old guys do this a lot from what I have seen.  I guess new hair products are better than what they use/have used since the 50's or something

Guyz, is there anything worse than trying to find an unoccupied stall between 9-10am? My office is about 90% males and its not unusual to have to check 3 different bathrooms just to find an open stall during peak hours.

Also other things about the work bathroom that bug me

- Screw "Green" Technology. I don't care that the toilet is low flow, I just don't want someone else's crap stuck to the back of the toilet when I sit down.
- Our sinks have a shitty motion detector and you basically have to put you hands right next to it to get some water.

you're lucky then, friend.  i've had "that guy" at like three different jobs.

Why does the cleaning lady always try to clean the bathroom between 1:00 and 1:15? Doesn't she realize that people are just getting back from lunch and need to use the bathroom? :curse:

great feeling: being the first person to use the bathroom in the morning and you turn on the lights as you enter and there is a ton of cleaning soap bubbles in the urinal

I've got a compulsive shaver in my office. He keep an electric razor at work and he's in there probably twice a day shaving.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

also, re: slow janitor,

he is an energy nazi.  the lights in the bathroom are motion activated, so if nobody is in there they turn off....but he will walk through and turn the lights off anyway.  you'll be sitting on the toilet taking care of business and the lights will suddenly turn off.

but really, he's slow, so nobody says anything to him.

eff, this.  Pisses me off.  Our new building (which is on hold) is going to be built with "convertible" bathrooms or something.  Like they can switch between male/female depending on the staffing.  Anyway, they said it would have those but I really doubt it.
