For example: there were 2 exhibits for halftime tonight.

1.) They gave 2 male students 2 roles each of streamer ribbon with a few feet head start on each. The student who successfully unraveled both first was declared the victor.

2.) They gave 2 more male students a backpack that looked like a cut off milk carton filled with ping pong balls. Each student had to dance until one student had no ping pong balls left in his milk carton.

Inexcusable. The halftime skits for MBB and WBB are increasingly becoming embarrasments to the University.

Little Cat Slam Jam is a classic and should be a part of every halftime.

That said...also bring back the Marching Cobras!! Best ever.

I went to the exib and it was a game of memory with a grid of 18" powercat squares and he had to turn them all over to find the matching symbols. it was timed. then another student had to repeat it and try to beat the others time to win. boringest and lamest thing anyone could have come up with.

i could watch 30 minutes of little cat slam jam.

they should have a 16 kid single elimination little cat slam jam tournament over halftime and the winning kid gets a year of chipotle

They oughta just throw a couple real cats out there and release 2 rats. First one to kill a rat gets a saucer of lukewarm cream. They'll call it CatAttackRat.

I think we should have two students try to ride unicycles around cones set up around the court. If you fall down, you have to start all over. If you can finish, you get to eat a free Chipotle burrito. If you can't finish before halftime is over, oscar gets the burrito. Oh, man, that would be fun.

3 students play a trivia game called "Win John Currie's Money". They are quizzed about various aspects of Kansas State and the winner of the quiz show goes toe to toe with JC in selecting the ideal basketball coach to replace oscar. Everyone in the crowd has a buzzer and votes on who picks the best candidate. If JC wins, he gets to keep his money. If the student wins, he gets a $1500 scholarship, paid for by John Currie.

For halftime entertainment there are Frisbee dogs and everything else. Nothing even comes close to Frisbee dogs. Maybe those guys (Bud Light sponsored IIRC) that used to dunk off of trampolines, but that's about it.

The oscar Weber Cornhole Challenge!

Two students toss bean bags at a board with oscar's face painted onto it and a hole cut out where oscar's mouth is. One catch: The mouth has a tongue that pops out randomly and wiggles around. Winner gets to keep the cornhole boards, and oscar autographs them when he comes out of the tunnel before the start of the second half.
