I understand this dude is supposed to be our best or second best frosh, and that he can't play until after the first semester for some godforsaken NCAA rules reason, and that he's like 20.

My question, HOWEVER, is why can't I find this guy on the bench during games? Is he there and I just don't know what he looks like?  Is he not allowed to sit on the bench (pretty sure BWalk did)?  Is he not actually on the team   :ohno:?

Also, actually pretty excited for this team next year with the transfers(Edwards Bolden and Hurt). I think weber has actually assembled a good group of players for the future after being left with franks island of misfit toys (one tall, None shoot, one defense, one lefty, one dribble, one pass).  This year will be rough at times though.

Also, DJamer is so much better than last year. Now if he could just develop a move over his left shoulder.

Also, the "new" rule has made officiating even more dreadful.  Apparently you can't allow yourself to get run into by the guy with the ball now,and if he swings and hits you its your fault.  All the other bullshit that needs to be cleaned up is still permitted.

As I understand it, he can't participate in any function with team.

I don't understand it either, because I seem to remember Don sitting on the bench his first semester.

Those are pretty decent observos.  Too bad we will never sit by each other at a Cats game.   :dubious:

Asked oscar about this during their open practice last Monday. Apparently he isn't allowed participate in any team activities until the 21st of December (no sitting on bench during games, can't participate in team workouts/activities, etc.) which is why we didn't see him at Madness in Manhattan. oscar said Madness in Manhattan was a rough day for Jevon. Apparently he was very gloomy that he couldn't play, and the team had to come visit him at his apartment/dorm to cheer him up. He just wants to play.

Jevon spends a lot of time with the coaches, needs to hit the ground running. I am also under the impression he is better than Foster. He plays hard and fast the kind of player other teams fans are going to hate. We are going to love him. Also that was a sad story.  :frown:

95 would thrive with the new rules.  Kid was quick and loved to drive.

Would kill to have him on this team.

Yeah. He played pick up games with them all summer. He just can't take part in organized activities when coaches are present...practice, conditioning, etc.
