Paul Rhoads

Ran into a guy at the gym here in Minneapolis who played LB for Iowa State back in the mid 90s. He saw my elite k-state shirt and started up a convo with me regarding how studly our cats are and then he gave me a rundown on the clones dumpster fire of a season. From what he says, our friend Paul might not have all of the support and backing that the public believes he has. This guy stated that he's still pretty connected with the university and program, and that word is slowly getting out to alums from the players and staff that Paul is genuinely disliked, and that the team is giving up on him. This guy could have just been blowing hot air, but i was dumbfounded to come across a clone who wasn't drooling over Paul. Just thought i'd share.

He also said that he was at ISU while the Mayor was playing there ....confirmed that he was a total boss on campus.

I think the vast majority of ISU fans know Rhoads is the best they can get, and he is totally awful.

Well let's not forget that Rhoads did have ISU ranked #25 in the coaches poll the week that we played them last year, so he can't be that bad, right?  But I guess that Prince had KSU barely ranked when we played KU in 2007 and was fired the following year, so maybe it doesn't mean all that much.
