why did you start this thread, MiR?

Bizarre question, no? Why does anyone start a thread? Was it not going fine, with people telling fighting stories until pendergast started raging?

I don't know, it seems like you wanted to call people out or pick an internet fight because of name-calling. Sometimes people start threads for that reason.

Michi, I don't need a thread on the bww board for that. Do people really start threads to call people out, I honestly don't remember one. Like I said this thread was clicking along just fine for several pages until the hulk came in here bigfooting the thread. fp, tc, etc tried to get us back on track and it was ignored.

so you simply started this thread because you think that fighting people in real life because of internet name-calling is just a normal topic for college-educated adults?

8 pages. Also is that the standard for starting threads now, when in the hell did this become a rule? Are we now some gold standard of perceived maturity? Why are you being so weird about this? Oh yeah, also not just about fighting because of the internet. Could be mistaken but I don't think any of the fight stories involved the internet.

i've really enjoyed the parade of posters who've felt it desirable to preface their statements of disdain for adult fighting with some variation of "i'm a big guy, muscley as all eff, but..."

I like the thread a lot, I was just wondering why you started it. You avoided the question, so I kept asking in different ways.

Please don't beat me up.

I started it because I wanted to know how people felt about fighting, thought that would be obvious with the 5 questions I asked

Funny how it took fp, tc, etc to try and get this thread back on track instead of the person who started it because he was too busy trying to win an internet argument.  You have equal blame in derailing this thread MIR.

Meh it seemed more like pendergast and edn brought old scores in here.  Man pendergast really doesn't like MIR tho.  That was some quality hate.
so you didnt read the  first line of his post?

I've changed my stance on the issue. I want to fight everyone. Except MiR, he's bigger than me.

I don't think I would like to fight wackysquawk IRL because skinny guys fight 'til they're burger.

I don't think I'd want to fight you cause I might be a pussy. Although, I wanted to fight you a month ago when we said mean things about each other, but then I tried to look at your side of it and got over it. :D

I punched a guy my senior year in HS during a soccer game that we were both playing in.

It was "senior day" and we had a girl on our team (no girls team). She usually played with the JV team but the coach put her in because it was senior day. We were winning like 3-0 and she got the ball, the dude on the other team lowered his shoulder and just laid her out, her feet flew over her head and the whole deal. She immediately started bawling.

All happened right in front of me and I immediately punched him directly in the face. Didn't even think about doing it, it just happened.

Got a red card for it.  :D

a couple things were confirmed in this thread: 1) bread is a just a really fantastic poster 2) mir carries around and unbelievably enormous chip on his shoulder.
