Good job coach. This is the passion it takes to get players sometimes to understand the passion they need to play with. He didnt do or say anything overboard. I guarantee his team plays better from now on. Keep up the good work Coach Hinson.

I had not noticed that Texas is playing at such a high pace this year. Nearly 74 possessions per game (top 10 nationally) and 53 at halftime at Carolina?

Was watching that live. I flipped out when he made it. Didn't figure out why they disallowed it for awhile afterwards. Stupid rule imo.

I haven't watched UT this year until now, and really regardless of how it plays out in the last 8 minutes or so but imo this is the best they have looked in quite a long time (at least offensively - maybe a lot of teams will against Roy?).

North Carolina's actually very good at defense but they play at a high pace

That was t.i.c although I don't feel as strongly as you do. He voiced frustration that all coaches have with their teams. I don't think it was a calculated effort to fire up his team, nor do I think that would actually work. I think it was just a frustrated coach that lost his filter.

Coaches do stuff like this all of the time. Remember Pat Knight and his first year at Lamar?

yes, I remember pat knight doing the same things. Lots of coaches do things that should embarrass them. I also think he was bordering on misogyny but I the key is he lost control and set a horrible example in the process.
