Big 12 hoops is finally back. I really enjoy watching these ISU vs Tech/ WVU at TCU type games.

ISU looks good. They probably sweep us.

Maybe this year our players won't crap the bed. We won't have the buzz around campus about the game and maybe they won't get lost in the hype.

I was excited because a lot of our important players may not have gained the fear of KU that our important players have had in the past. But then I remembered that they have Black and Embiid, and we have Gipson and DJamer, so it doesn't really matter what our mentality is going into the game.

This. Foster and Thomas are fearless, but this is a terrible matchup. I'd love to see a grinder, low poss game like SDSU is doing to them today but just don't see it. They'll bomb 4-5 3s early in the game and then hammer us down low. Rinse and repeat, boys.

I've just come to accept that all college basketball refs suck. I can't decide if it's them or that the game is to physical and fast for them to make good calls.

basketball refereeing is just kind of impossible. at the beginning of the second half they called a foul on wiggins and i kid you not wiggins never touched the guy, the sdsu player had tripped over his own teammate.

Ya, I saw that one. There was another one earlier where they called an over the back and nobody boxed out. Conclusion, basketball happens too fast to call a good game.

I agree that the game is too hard to officiate, plus these guys officiate too many games. This leads to not only inconsistencies from game to game, but inconsistencies within games which is even worse.

better for conference RPI, but I'd like to see them lose in Allen Fieldhouse. The streak is like 60+ games against non-conference opponents
