I'm pretty sure he means Jeb Bush and Rand Paul, FSD.

Rand doesn't stand a chance.  Christie all day 'we day.  I think Jeb would have had a shot if he started moving forward earlier.

I don't think we can count a Bush out of this race just yet. There is plenty of time for all candidates. Just look at the last election. It seemed like there was a new frontrunner every week.

I just don't see them beating Christie unless they can win a primary by having the entire country make fun of his weight.

I prefer Jeb because it would give me many great opportunities to share my story of how he once held a door open for me to pass through.

Christie is overweight and might come across as being a bit of an intellectual who was a little too friendly with Obama. A lot of republicans are going to have a tough time with that. He could end up being a lot like Romney in the primaries this year, where republicans just keep looking for somebody they can vote on who is batshit crazy and not a RINO. I agree that Christie is the clear frontrunner, but it's way too early to just call it now. Nobody saw Santorum coming the last time, after all.

Santorum didn't amount to anything real.

That's only because Newt refused to exit the election when most candidates normally would. Those votes for Newt were not going to go to Romney.

I think some in the base are getting sick of bat crap crazy.  I don't think it will be as celebrated next go round as it was last.  The last one was a statistical loser given incumbency.  This coming one is for real.

It doesn't really matter who they run because they'll be opposed by:

Hillary- hopeless at winning anything unless appointed, likely to die in the primary
Biden- incredible dumbass

This might be the best year for a third party candidate ever - fiscal conservative, social liberal - which takes you back to christie, so yeah, he'll win and the right wing is gonna have to deal with it

I really really really really hope Biden takes a long hard shot at it.  Would be fantastically entertaining.

I was amazed at how well Biden did in the vice presidential debate against Paul Ryan. Up until that point I had absolutely no idea how he had made it anywhere close to as far as he had. He's actually pretty likeable in that setting, though.

Oh, and this is just so Biden.

Debates are the most controlled part of a race.

Bidden looked like an incredible Dumbass during the debate, unless you think screaming and incoherence are good, in which case I suggest pro wrestling.

They need to have a private douche elimination round to cull out canidates with unelectable personalities, get it down to 3 if they have that many left, and then let them duke it out.  I'm sick of the social missfits the right keeps nominating.
it’s not like I’m tired of WINNING, but dude, let me catch my breath.

In the wake of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, Biden did, in fact, champion an anti-terrorism bill similar to the one now before Congress (though it was, as he complains, badly watered down by anti-government conservatives and leftist civil libertarians). And Biden doesn't let you forget it. "I introduced the terrorism bill in '94 that had a lot of these things in it," he bragged to NBC's Tim Russert on September 30. When I spent the day with him later that week, Biden mentioned the legislation to me, and to several other reporters he encountered, no fewer than seven times. "When I was chairman in '94 I introduced a major antiterrorism bill--back then," he says in the morning, flashing a knowing grin and pausing for effect. (Never mind that he's gotten the year wrong.) Back in his office later that afternoon, he brings it up yet again. "I drafted a terrorism bill after the Oklahoma City bombing. And the bill John Ashcroft sent up was my bill." You don't say.

Christie would be my choice, and if he can keep it moderate throughout the primaries he may just steal the show from Hillary.  He's a likable person and his penchant for pragmatism is a likeable trait.
