Early in the third quarter, John decided he didn't want to sit in Section 20 anymore. He wanted to go down on the field, mostly to impress a girl he had been chatting up for a good part of the game. And so he walked through the gate and onto the field. Security didn't seem to notice.
Here he is earlier in the game...he's in the top right of the image. You can only see his back because John was having a really good time turning back toward the stands and waving to his friends.

Other things John did while he was down on the field:
- Got a selfie pic with Willie
- Got a selfie pic with the Mountaineer guy
- Got a selfie pic with some WVU cheerleaders
- Drank out of John Hubert's water bottle for a while (we could tell it was Hubert's because it had "I'M THE BOSS - #33" written on the cap)
- Talked to the FOX sound guys
- Took more selfies
- Hit on an older lady who was probably actually supposed to be on the field
When he was done on the field after the game ended, he just simply walked back toward the gate to Section 20, where a KSU security guard was kind enough to open up the gate for John so he could walk back up into the stands.
As I said, he went down on the field early in the third quarter, right when the 'Cats started to take over the game, so I think it's pretty obvious what won this game for us. Thank you John, for all you do for the 'Cats.
