so many KU threads

There are going to be a TON of threads this year that you will probably accuse of being "Ku threads."

Look, you can either join us and the rest of the State of Kansas in embracing Wiggins, or you can get lost, pal.  Your move.

Every year around this time I find myself wishing we had Beas on our team again, but if I can't have someone of Beas' s quality to cheer for, I guess I can make due with a player like Wiggins.

I think it's pretty awesome that Ender's Game opens in theatres the same week that Andrew Wiggins makes his debut for the Kansas Jayhawks, personally.

Guys, I am just as excited for Wiggins as the rest of the state!!! That is the good news. The bad news is, I am worried just a bit for our guy Andrew. Obviously the jayhawks are a shoo-in for another Big 12 title (9 in a row!) and another Final 4 bid. My worry is, is what if something comes up (injury, rough game) and our hawks arent able to bring home a natty??? What if Bill's hawks overlook calipari's boys, or louisville, or Duke or somebody like that and SOMEHOW the non-kansans eek out a win??? I dont think I could bear to see our guy Wiggins if his trophy was taken from him. reassure me, guys.

my step dad rick went to the practice game (i know, long haul from dodge city) and told me wiggins looked amazeballs. he said wiggins went like 13/14 and the only shot he missed was a dunk shot from the free throw line on a wide open break-away but the only reason he missed was because he tried to do a 360 and threw it too hard off the back of the rim.

edit: fwiw, rick said he thought that drews toes were on the ft line when he jumped. he has really good season tix too so id trust him on this one.

I use to go to eat at Peppercorns all the time on Thursdays when they had the 8.99 sirloin dinner and your step dad was there a lot and knew a lot about KU basketball so I would say this is A+ info.

I was hoping you were serious, and then you told us that he used a sharpie to print "ANDY" on the bottom of your cowboy boots with an adorable, backwards "N"

Or maybe you prefer a neatly written "ANDY" on your space boots

Wiggins might be the greatest player alive, but the way he interviews makes him look like one of the dumbest.

So with basically the "no floppin" rule in place, we foul out Will every game, they foul out Floppy McSmart every game?  Will take

We got this RCJH bros  :tsc:

Well, I am a bit taken aback by Coach Self's comments about Wiggins.

Nothing even remotely similar was true about Beasley, for example....and I cannot recall anything close to that being said about any consensus #1 recruit in recent memory.

Therefore, it's probably lies....and a little gamesmanship by a salty veteran coach.

We got this guys.  Wiggs is going to make us all very proud.  RELAX!

I do think LHCBS is trying to motivate Wiggins, but having an elite cast is always going to lead to less goddy numbers.
