Technically, we experimented with the veer, but never actually installed it...You can't run the veer correctly out of the I, the dive angles and the pitch relationships are all wrong...We did have some options and some play action passes, but no veer...

Sams is fast, but he's not in Starring's league when it comes to foot speed...Still, it'll be fun to see what he can do.  He'll be a faster version of Derrick Fourroux.  If he can win as frequently as Fourroux, he'll be " special" ;)

But he's gonna have to earn his chance at Grill duty.

I remember when I went to a game at "The Hole" and McNeese was ranked #4 in FCS and Texas State came in and beat them like the bunch of studs that they are and it was a very exciting and competitive game and while I was on the concourse people kept asking about the LSU score. Dorks :lol:
